OUR COMMUNITY | Supporting The Sierra Leone COVID 19 Rapid Response Team in the UK

The corona virus outbreak is one of the greatest global health emergencies in living memory which has greatly affected the way we all go about our daily lives. In these uncertain times, small acts of kindness can make a huge difference. For the past 6 years, Make Our Leaders Foundation has organised a series of programs here in the UK to support our vision of providing education for underprivileged children in Sierra Leone. We have also made timely interventions during crisis periods in Sierra Leone when we donated food and other essentials to victims of the Ebola Outbreak and the Mudslide Disaster. The ongoing, ever-changing situation concerning the coron avirus (COVID-19) pandemic is no exception. Our network of incredible members/associate members have on Saturday 18th April donated £500 (five hundred pounds) and ten packs of water, to support the unique and incredible work the Sierra Leone COVID 19 Rapid Response team is doing in these scary and uncertain times.

The presentation was made by our Director of Operations Patrick Pratt and Asssociate Member Alieu Koroma to Isata Sesay Jalloh who is the Lead Coordinator of the team. The team provides vital humanitarian and individual support for the most vulnerable in the community. We hope that our donation will contribute to making a difference in people's lives in these unprecedented times.

Long live MOL Foundation!!!
